The Most Superb Moroccan Desert Adventure!
Our 4-day desert tour from Marrakech to Fes (with two nights in Merzouga) booked with Superb Morocco tours couldn’t have gone better.
Our guide, Idir, was absolutely phenomenal. He made our tour feel like we were taking a road trip with a new, local friend. Idir paid close attention to what we liked and the kinds of questions we asked, tailoring our stops, side trips, and meal choices accordingly. He even noticed what we weren’t as interested in (like shopping) and adjusted plans seamlessly.
As a vegetarian with a food allergy, I was very impressed with how well I was accommodated for, and the fact that every night in our hotel (where dinner was included) the staff already knew in advance of my dietary restrictions and had prepared an appropriate meal options.
The accommodations on our tour were excellent. The two cars we were in were in great condition (a minivan for the highway day and a LandCruiser for the desert days) and most importantly, we felt safe on the road.
Ismail from Superb Morocco Tours was equally wonderful in helping get our trip set up. He was incredibly responsive, friendly, and easy to coordinate with. Beyond organizing our desert tour, he also helped arrange guides and transportation for our self-guided days, which made our entire trip smooth and stress-free. It truly felt like having a Moroccan friend we could message on WhatsApp at any time for advice or help.
We had considered the option of joining a larger group tour before I learned about the private options offered by Superb Morocco. While private is more expensive, the cost is very reasonable and allowed us to tailor our itinerary. And when we arrived to the dunes in Erg Chebbi and got to cross the desert with only two other people (instead of in a convoy of 30 tourists on camels) I knew that we made the right decision!

Our journey through Morocco was truly magical! We traveled from Marrakech to Fez, with stunning stops in the Dades Valley, Ifrane, Ait Ben Haddou, and the breathtaking Atlas Mountains. One of the highlights was an unforgettable afternoon of camel rides, watching the sunset over the dunes, and camping under the stars in the Merzouga desert.

Unforgettable trip!
Choosing Superb Morocco was the absolute best decision for our two-week honeymoon adventure in Morocco! We booked a 4-day desert trip from Fes to Marrakech, including two nights in the desert and one in Dades Valley.
We picked Superb Morocco after researching several companies, and were drawn in by their excellent reviews and top-notch communication. Ismail made the booking process a breeze. He was incredibly accommodating, offering various customisable itineraries and accommodation options, even letting us change to a different camp to stay in a dome tent for one desert night. His communication was always quick, polite, and in English, and he even checked in on us during the tour. A 50% deposit was paid via PayPal.
Our private driver, Youssef, was truly outstanding. He speaks very good English, is a calm driver and made sure we were comfortable, hydrated and educated the entire journey. He went above and beyond to tailor the journey to our preferences, such as taking us to small local restaurants instead of the touristy ones, treating us to specialty coffee spots (as I love coffee) and even surprising us with a custom honeymoon cake on our first desert night!
We highly recommend a 4-day or longer trip due to the long drives. But the car was spacious, comfortable, and had excellent air conditioning, with bottled water provided throughout. You can also connect to Bluetooth to play your own music.
While one desert camp was a bit touristy (a good tip is to research the camps to find your ideal fit), the overall experience was an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime adventure - well worth every penny!
Small tip: Camel riding can be tougher on your body than expected (even for fit 30 year olds). Consider an ATV instead. You'll still get plenty of amazing camel photos in the desert!
We can't recommend Youssef enough – he made our honeymoon unforgettable. Thank you, Superb Morocco!

Travel Possible with food Allergies
We enjoyed the fact that we were able to see so many places with a friendly reliable driver/guide —Youseff. We loved that he tried to answer all our questions and often made us laugh. In Marrakech, Mohammed, went above and beyond to help me find food resources for my allergies and purchase items. The places that they had us stay were excellent! The hotel they used in Dades Valley served gourmet type foods and definitely helped with my allergies. Our driver/guide always called ahead to discuss them with the hotels and almost all fed me generous portions of things I could eat.
If you are worried about traveling with food allergies, these guys will help!!

Amazing first trip in Morroco
Just returned from an unforgettable 7-day journey through Morocco with Superb Morocco Tours—from Marrakech to Casablanca with stops in Fez, Dades Valley, Ifrane, Ait Ben Haddou, and an epic night of camel rides and desert camping in Merzouga.
Everything was thoughtfully planned. We chose the superior accommodations package which was tad bit more than the mid level ones but it was well worth it. The riads and hotels were beautiful, with amazing breakfasts and dinners that showcased Moroccan hospitality. In each major city, we had private local guides who gave us rich context on the medinas, mosques, and historic sites.
Special thanks to our driver and guide, Youssef, who truly went above and beyond. He not only kept us safe and on schedule, but also made the journey feel personal—with great tips, cultural insights, humor, and spontaneous sightseeing detours that made all the difference.

Amazing experience!
I had an amazing experience with Morocco Superb Tours in Morocco. We were a couple with a 7-year-old girl, and she simply loved Youseef! We explored the majestic High Atlas Mountains, passed through beautiful valleys and gorges, and had the opportunity to stay at a camp in the Sahara Desert. I felt extremely well taken care of and safe with Superb Morocco Tours! The best part is that they tailor the program according to your needs, making you feel part of the family and taking care of your well-being. Additionally, I loved learning more about the Berber people and their customs.

We had such a wonderful time traveling with Superb Morocco Tours! The whole trip was smooth, well-organized, and filled with unforgettable moments.
Our guide, Idir, was a standout—relaxed, friendly, and always willing to adapt the pace or route to suit our interests. He gave us the freedom to stop when we wanted and never pushed us into shopping or tourist traps, which made the experience feel genuinely our own.
Some of the major highlights for us were the breathtaking Todra Gorges and the ancient ksar of Ait Benhaddou—both places left us in awe. We also loved the visit with the Gnaoua musicians—an unexpected and meaningful cultural experience that added so much depth to the tour.

The best desert tour company!
Absolutely amazing!! Superb Morocco Tours is wonderful, so professional, and, they take care of everything. Ismail, the owner is very responsive and his follow through is impeccable. Our driver, Said, was so kind and knowledgeable. We feel like we made a lifelong friend. We did the 3-night trip from Fes to Marrakech and had a great time. The accommodations were spectacular, (except the tent can get very cold at night), gorgeous riads, and good food. Even though there was a lot of time spent in the car, we saw places that we would not have seen on our own. This is definitely a must-do in Morocco. Thank you, Said for taking such great care of us!!

Superb Morocco
We took the 12 days tour from Casablanca to Rabat, Chefchaouen, Fes, Merzouga, Dades, Marrakech, Essaouira and back to Casablanca. Yousef was our driver and he was simply the best. He has such a pleasant personality and was very patient with all our requests. Safety was always first and he was a very careful driver adhering to traffic regilations and speed limits all the time. Yousef was also very informative and attentive to all our needs for solah stops and breaks during our journey.
The Riyads that we stayed in were superb especially the ones in Chefchàouen, Dades and Merzaouga. Very comfortable and beautiful riyards. Generally all the Riyads were centrally located and close to the Medinas. We had ample time to do our shopping and explore the riyads.
Overall we are very happy with Superb Morrocco tours from their recommendation of itineraries and accomodating our changes. Would definitely recommend them to others. 5 stars for Superb Morrocco.

A wonderful and memorable tour
SMT really live up to its name. From the initial engagement to customised the tour with ismail and eventual execution of the tour with yousef was really smooth.
We took a 12 days tour of morocco 🇲🇦. We were met at the airport by yousef and from there on everything was smooth sailing. Yousef was tentative to our request and a very pleasant young man with a good sense of humour. We had a wonderful time with him throughout.
The itinerary itself was excellent. We had a wholesome experience of morocco in its entirety. As we are from a tropical nation, we really enjoyed the desert and highland landscape of morocco.
The accommodations(riads) were very good throughout. We love them all maybe with the exception of essaouira but it was compensated by the seaview we had from the room.

My 25-year-old daughter and I just returned from an outstanding week-long adventure in Morocco with Superb Morocco Tours. I can easily say that our trip would not have been as spectacular without Ismail and Ahmed as our guide and driver. Our journey started with great communication...Ismail answered every email promptly and helped us design an itinerary that was perfect for us. From pick-up to drop-off at Casablanca airport, our every need was met and exceeded. Ismail speaks excellent English and is very knowledgable about Morocco. It is clear he and Ahmed love their country and wanted to share all of it with us! Ahmed is a skilled driver who navigated the busy cities of Casblanca, Fes, and Marrakech with the same ease that he maneuvered through the steep mountain passes. Our accomodations were spectacular...the riads chosen were 5-star...and each day's experiences were not only educational, but fun! I had an excellent tour with Mohaa in Marrakech, Essaouira a beautiful port city
and then we went through the High Atlas Mountains, Beautiful valleys and gorges and stayed in the Sahara camp! I felt extremely well cared for and safe with Superb Morocco Tours! Where do I begin this amazing trip?
I travelled to Morocco with my cousin and a friend to celebrate our 65th birthdays. We did a 3 night/ 4 day excursion with Superb Morocco Tours after a couple of adjustment days in Marrakech. We went from Marrakech to the Erg Chegaga dunes, then over to Essaouria . Our driver Hussein was outstanding. His English was excellent and he could converse on many subjects.( he also speaks Spanish) we are world music lovers and he had a great playlist that matched the amazing landscapes thru the mountains and into the desert regions. We visited UNESCO Ait Ben Haddou and an old Koranic library and pottery studio that produces the green tiles you see all over. We enjoyed lunch at M’Hamid. We stayed at charming kasbahs and riads en route but the icing on the cake was the desert camp. Being older folks we opted for the more luxury version with toilet and shower in the tent. Upon arrival to the camp we were given tea and pastries in a little shelter before riding camels to the camp. Our first glimpse of the camp itself will remain a highlight- a circle of large tents around a campfire area, lined with carpets and low cushions.Two young Berber boys took care of us- pouring tea, preparing a lovely meal and table outdoors and playing some drums which we also participated in. It was cloudy so the Stars were not really apparent but the full moon made up for it. We wished we could have slowed down time . In the Am we went got up for sunrise and hiked around the beautiful dunes a bit before a lovely breakfast. We then headed out thru interesting landscape dotted with donkeys and camels grazing. On the way to Essaouria we stopped at a saffron coop to learn how this spice is grown and harvested. We never felt harassed or unsafe during our entire 10 day trip. And the hospitality of the Moroccan people was 5 stars all the way.
This tour company has itineraries all over the country and you can modify it a bit to your own interests. I would not hesitate to use them again and hope someday to return. Thank you Ismail and Hussein for such a memorable trip! Unfortunately I am not given access to my photo library here but will post some later if I can.

“Beautiful, safe, Friendly and economic 11 day tour througout Morroco In sept 2018”
I travelled with my Wife 2500 kilometers/ 11 locations throughout the beautiful country of Morroco in the great company of Ismail our guide and Yousef our driver. We never had a worry as we were well taken care of by these two individuals. It was a safe and comfortable journey. We felt like we were part of the community as Ismail brought to local places in his home town, and others. The food was delicious and the sights were amazing. I never felt at risk with these guys guiding me on where to go. The Sahara desert journey on Camels was great.
