Your 14 Days Morocco Food Tour From Casablanca will be start by greetings at Mohamed 5th (CMN) Airport, You will visit the Hassan 2nd Mosque in Casablanca, the 7th largest mosque in the world, a short drive to Rabat; the capital of Morocco, here in Rabat you will see the Hassan Tower and Mohamed 5th mausoleum before you check in to your overnight accommodation in a Hotel/Riad.
After the breakfast in your riad, we will drive to the enchanting mountain village of Chefchaouen, passing through the green valleys of the Rif Mountains. Chefchaouen is famous for its vivid blue rinsed houses and is very popular for both tourists and Moroccans, particularly in the hot summer months. Explore Chefchaouen, with its winding lanes and narrow alleys. Overnight in Chefchaouen.
After the breakfast in your riad, you will start travelling to Fes via Ouazzan and the best Roman ruins in Morocco( Volubilis). After a couple of hours drive, you will get to Volubilis, the well preserved Roman empire dating to 225 BC, where you will see the most beautiful Mosaics in Morocco dating back to 3rd century BC. Here you will have a guided tour of the site and learn about the Roman Empire. After that we travel to Meknes, the Ismaili capital of Morocco. Lunch then continue to Fes. Dinner and Overnight at your Riad in Fes.
On the 4th day of your 14 Days Morocco Food Tour From Casablanca you will explore Fes, “the Spiritual City of Morocco”. You will spend the whole morning exploring the Medina and its alleys; visiting most of the sites with cultural and historical interest – including the famous Al Karaouine Mosque and University (the oldest in the world), the Attarine Madrasa, the Tanneries and the Najjarine fountain. After lunch, we will drive you outside the Medina to see the Royal Palace gate, walk through the Jewish quarter “the Mellah”, and then visit the ceramic workshops. In the afternoon, we will drive to one of the fortresses to experience an amazing panoramic view of the whole Medina of Fes. Overnight accommodation at the same riad.
Departure to the desert passing through the middle Atlas mountains, Ifrane and the cedar forest where you will have the opportunity to meet the Barbary Apes, free time for optional lunch in Midelt. Ahead, Ziz valley welcomes you with its palm trees, you will reach Merzouga Desert for camel ride attending the sunset and spend the evening in a Sahara camp, enjoy a Moroccan dinner, listen to Berber music, and you can join by drumming and dancing. Overnight in a private tent.
Wake-up to a spectacular sunrise in the desert, have breakfast in the camp and you will start an amazing trip alongside the dunes while passing by the oasis, visit Khamlia village to listen Gnaoua musicians, then short drive will take you to Rissani to experience the authentic local market, today you will have the special Moroccan dish Madfouna for lunch. Afternoon return to Merzouga, overnight in a riad.
Depart to Dades valley through many Berber villages. Visit and lunch in Todra gorges. Afternoon continue to Dades valley. Overnight in a hotel/riad overlooking the valley.
Today you have a cooking class with lunch in Dades valley, by afternoon you will explore the valley.
After breakfast, short drive will take you to kasbah Ait Benhaddou, visit of this old berber village, where many movies filmed such as; The Mummy and Gladiator. After lunch, you will continue on to Marrakech crossing the High Atlas Mountains through Tizi Ntichka pass. arrive in Marrakech early evening.
Today you will have a guided tour of Marrakech, the visit includes Bahia Palace, Medrasa Ben Youssef, Koutoubia Minaret and the Medina with its colorful Souks. Afternoon visit the dynamic Djemaa El Fna square. Overnight at the same accommodation.
Free morning, if you are interested you can visit Majorelle Gardens or we can book you a Hammam in the morning, afternoon you will have a food tour .
Departure toward Essaouira, the old Portuguese city, visit the fishing port with its ramparts and Skala. Walking in the Souk (market) and experience different crafts manufactured in the town. Enjoy the fresh seafood in a local restaurant near the port. Spend the night in Essaouira
After breakfast in your riad you will travel to Casablanca alongside the Atlantic coast with a stop in Eljadida for lunch and continue to Casablanca.
